After storm Imogen…comes Storm Jake!

The latest of the UK storms, Imogen, sent hurricane force winds and heavy rain earlier this week, leaving 19,000 homes without power, chaos on the roads and damage to homes.

Storm Imogen follows on from, Abigail, Barney, Clodagh, Desmond, Eva, Frank, Gertrude and Henry – and forecasters believe that it will not be the last one of the winter period. The next storm will be called Jake, followed by Katie, Lawrence and Mary.
