It’s clear to see the passion the team at Aspray Glasgow West have for the club. Ensuring someone attends every game of the season is no hard task for them as the electric atmosphere in the arena assures a fantastic night out.

Back to the Beginning
Looking for a different sponsorship opportunity, Aspray Glasgow West owner, John Strange, took his family to two different sporting events over one weekend. Knowing he wanted his business to be involved with something different and exciting, he gave the family a vote.
Ice hockey won 4-0.
“I hadn’t really been to the hockey before, other than one time in Madison Square Gardens… I was blown away by the game. I absolutely fell in love and now I’m obsessed with The Clan,” said John.
This was back in 2019. Starting out as a player sponsor for Rasmus Bjerrum, Aspray Glasgow West began to form a strong bond with the club.
The Glasgow Clan and Covid
It was tough times for all in 2020 as the covid pandemic gripped the world. For the Glasgow Clan, things became dicey as there were talks of permanent closure become a real possibility. Putting his faith in something he loved, John and Aspray Glasgow West took the role of title sponsor throughout the covid season.
Since then, John’s involvement with the club has grown and now he is back for a third season in the title sponsor slot.
Gerry McLaughlin, Commercial Director of the Glasgow Clan said. “The support we’ve had from John Strange and the team at Aspray Glasgow West has been incredible. They’ve shown great faith and share the passion for what we are trying to achieve at the Clan. I can’t thank them enough for their continued support and I hope the fans will feel comfortable reaching out to them should the worst happen and they need to make a housing insurance claim.”
Clan Chat with Craig Anderson
Recently, John spoke to The Clan’s Craig Anderson about his business and their continues association with the club.
