Aspray are a company with nationwide services who like to support charities close to it’s loss assessors hearts and since the head office is in Lancashire, the head office team have opted to support Derian House again this year with fundraising through their national conference, as per last year, and also via other fund raising events.

Aspray go the extra mile to support Derian House

Because Aspray assist their customers during what is often an extremely difficult and distressing time when they need to make a property damage insurance claim they having chosen to support Derian House once again because of the dedication, care and support they give to children with life limiting illnesses.

Situated in the heart of Lancashire, Derian House provides palliative, specialist respite and end of life care for children and young adults throughout the North West and also supports their family with counselling, hugs and advice.

In September a team of runners of mixed fitness and abilities from Aspray and Derian House will attempt to complete the Heaton Park 5km race.

As this year is the Derian House’s 25th Anniversary, the runners are aiming to raise a staggering £2,500 which will go some way to support the essential work that the team at Derian House do.

Training is under way and some of the runners have just started the couch to 5k training programme! Updates will follow but we really need you to show the team that what they are doing is worthwhile, and so please start sponsoring them I you can and sharing our “Just Giving” page with friends and family to give the runners that extra encouragement and add value to the cause.

We will give more details about the race and the team members over the coming months as they train hard for this event.
