From the first meeting at the property I felt your confidence that you had understood the claim and would ensure that this was communicated professionally to the Insurance Company. My trust was well placed. We are making great progress under difficult circumstances. Thank you for your expertise and communication skills to date in achieving this.
A qualified architect, Adrian has been involved in the construction industry his entire working life, graduating for the second time in 1993. A great academic foundation supports a great ‘hands on’ working knowledge of building and construction in general. Adrian has developed property on a ‘buy to let’ basis and also ‘buy to sell’ projects; adding value through good design and prudent purchase in the first instance. He has owned and managed two companies in the last seventeen years. One of which installed wine cellars for private individuals in their own homes. The other was PR & Marketing. A notable client being the RIBA. (Royal Institute of British Architects).
Aspray London South has a good team of competent, qualified and in some cases ‘artisan’ contractors on board. They can confidently manage any emergency and also make effective plans for the reinstatement of your property after being subject to an insurance loss.
Many people say the key to any successful reinstatement project is good communication. Often an insurance claim can be emotional and extremely time consuming. Aspray London South offers to reduce the stress and the strain of your claim. We liaise with the insurance company, the appointed Loss adjuster, the contractors and suppliers and offer a complete project management service from start to finish. The objective is to reinstate your property to the same condition as it was before your flood, fire, escape of water, storm damage or even vehicle impact. Aspray London South can manage any size of claim; commercial or domestic. Aspray are an award-winning, market-leading company with UK-wide coverage and are authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority, which means we always treat customers fairly and have a robust complaints process in place.
To quote a recent client from Battersea
“Adrian Hargreaves and Aspray London South offer a full service that also has the safeguard that my settlement money is protected by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA). The best bit, for me; I have a qualified architect managing my project and giving me free design advice as part of the service.”
Does it get any better?
Water damage is one of the most common causes of residential or commercial buildings insurance claims. A leaky or frozen pipe can sometimes lead to extensive, and sometimes expensive, damage to your property and its contents.
If you experience water damage, Aspray could help by negotiating with your insurance company or their loss adjuster, drying out your property if necessary and instructing vetted contractors to complete reinstatement works.
Suffering a fire in your residential or commercial property can be destressing and the damage caused can, in some cases, be catastrophic. Aspray could help restore your home or business to its pre-loss condition, providing a helping hand when you may need it most.
Where applicable, if your residential property is damaged an Aspray loss assessor will arrange temporary accommodation for yourself and your family should you be unable to remain in your property while repairs are carried out.
Adverse weather conditions are out of your control and a severe storm can cause damage to various aspects of your residential or commercial property. High winds, heavy rain, hail and snow can all potentially cause harmful effects to your home or business, from broken roof tiles to an uprooted tree landing on your house or business.
Damage caused by a storm can take many forms however, our project managers are experienced at reinstating properties that have been affected by extreme weather conditions.
Extreme floods have been prominent across the UK over the past few years, with home and business owners suffering extensive damage, leaving them without a habitable property for extended periods of time.
If your property has been flooded, Aspray London South could, were applicable, arrange temporary accommodation and begin organising the cleaning and stripping of fixtures, fittings and furnishings that have been damaged because of the flood.
Predominately caused by a vehicle colliding with your residential or commercial property or boundary, the physical damage of impact can be big enough and Aspray London South understand that the emotional impact could be even greater. The property owner can usually recover the cost of the damage under their own policy and then your insurances can often pursue a recovery of costs against the offending motorist.

Our most frequently asked question - What is the difference between a Loss Assessor and a Loss Adjuster?
A loss assessor works in the best interests of the policyholder. Sometimes known as a public loss adjuster, a loss assessor manages property damage insurance claims on behalf of the policyholder, working towards achieving a fair settlement from the insurance company.
In 2005, it became a legal requirement for all loss assessors to be regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) to ensure that insurance claim management meets specific standards. Aspray Ltd is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority and can be found on the FCA Register.
An Aspray loss assessor goes beyond simply negotiating and agreeing your claim with the insurer, they also project manage all repair works, reinstating your property to its pre-loss condition as swiftly as possible.
A loss adjuster is appointed on behalf of the insurance company. When instructed by an insurance company, a loss adjuster will assess the damage to your property and, if they deem the damage liable under your insurance policy, will work with your insurance company to provide settlement figure. Loss adjusters are often appointed when the claim is of a significant size and will visit your property to determine the cause of damage.
Any loss adjuster appointed will be paid directly by your insurance provider, therefore, many claimants worry that they may not receive an impartial assessment. This is where a claimant may decide to appoint a loss assessor who will aim look after their interests.
Instructing Aspray London South will provide you with a dedicated and experienced loss assessor who will put your interests first.
