Much like the year we do not speak of, 2021 came with many challenges and disruptions. But, this year covid hasn’t been the only external force playing havoc with businesses. For Aspray, factors such as Brexit and the famous grounding of Ever Given for six days in the Suez Canal has once again given us cause to step up and show the determination that our Appointed Representatives (ARs) across the country have to meet their customer’s needs.

Despite outside forces, one thing has remained at the heart of our company ethos – the policyholder.

Stress. Worry. Apprehension. These are a few of the emotions our customers are often feeling when we first meet them, having discovered damage to their homes, business premises or investment properties. Some have suffered tremendous losses and don’t know where to start to get their property back to the way it was before. Aspray representatives are often more than just a loss assessor, they are a shoulder to lean on, an industry insider to ask questions to and a support system to help get you back on your feet.

In September last year, Aspray was proud to receive the ‘Outstanding Services to the Policyholder’ award from the British Claims Awards 2021. This prestigious award recognises those companies who have gone above and beyond basic expectations in the delivery of services to the policyholder and in doing so demonstrate their commitment and professionalism.

Our Customers Reviews – paving the way with TRUSTist

We want to know what our customers think. The good, the bad and the ugly.

Providing an easy platform for our customers to leave their feedback has been an important factor throughout the previous year. Our partnership with TRUSTist in late 2020 has meant that throughout 2021 more customers than ever have taken the opportunity to tell us about their experience. 

The exceptional responses we have received from policyholders has been overwhelming. Maintaining our 4.9/5 average score across the network is truly testament to the hard work and compassion that is given by our ARs each day.  

 

For those of you who have never had an insurance claim like myself, the world of insurance and claims can be a complex and challenging space. Thankfully we found out about Asprey who were amazing and advised diligently on the matter, dealing with the insurers on our behalf. We had water damage in our property caused by a leaking central heating pipe underneath a concrete floor which was a nightmare as there were lots of uncertainties. Mario was professional, courteous, displayed great client care and kept us updated at all times. We particularly appreciated his transparency and advice on the claim, particularly the risks. 5 star service- Thank you!

Celebrating 2021 in 2022

As a nationwide company, getting our ARs together to not only share best practice but also relax together and celebrate their achievements is an important event in our calendar. For 2021, covid had other plans and our Christmas celebrations had to be pushed back until January.

But that didn’t stop us! After eagerly awaiting our new January date, we still donned our party outfits, ate our turkey dinner, and celebrated the year with our Aspray family.

Incorporating team building and industry training, as well as a dinner dance and awards ceremony, the Aspray national conference gave us the chance to honour those in our network who have really excelled over the past 12 months.

I’m very proud to be part of the Aspray network and to receive this award was truly amazing. My business relies on a team of people and I couldn’t deliver my services without the contractors who share my passion for excellence and the introducers who trust me to help their customers. This award is for you all.

Looking forward

After the past two years it’s clear that anything can happen. And as our customers can attest too, you can never know what is around the corner.
