Our representatives in Sunderland, Sara and Ben Holmes, managed the reinstatement of this to let property following impact damage.

A HGV drove into the front of this new build mid-terrace home, leaving the property uninhabitable.

Once the claims was agreed, reinstatement work could take place. Project managed by Sara and Ben, work included rebuilding most of the front of the property, part of the rear walls in addition to internal work which included replacement of floors, the staircase, kitchen and bathrooms.

Throughout the process, Sara and Ben ensured that the adjoining owners were kept up to date and the proper process were followed, including party wall notices and structural surveys.

Alongside the reinstatement, Sara and Ben also helped the policyholder claim for loss of rent whilst the property was reinstated. The customer was delighted with the service, giving Aspray (Sunderland) 5/5 for their help with the insurance claim and the reinstatement works.
