Water Leak in Let Property
When landlord, Julie, received a call from her tenant letting her know that a water leak had flooded her property, her first worry was for the children living in the home. After her insurance company offered her little help with the situation, she contacted Aspray.
Loss Assessor, Rashid, visited the property within 24 hours and, once the instruction was signed, immediately took over the claim, assessing the damage and putting together a detailed report for the insurer.

When the insurance company initially asked Julie to explain the extent of the damage, she didn’t know where to start. From past experience of water damage, Rashid knew to check other areas, such as behind walls and under floorboards in order to understand the full extent of the damage. This revealed extensive water and mould damage throughout all affected levels, including between ceilings and walls.
Once the settlement was agreed with the insurer, Rashid set to work project managing the repairs with his vetted contractors, all Julie had to do was choose the colour paint and replacement carpets.
