I don’t live near the property. Can I still use Aspray?

Of course! Our service is designed to handle all aspects of the claim on your behalf. All you need to do is sign the mandate, which will be explained in full by your dedicated assessor, and confirm you are happy with the work once complete. All of which can be done remotely should you be unable to attend the property in person.

Free Loss Assessing Service*
Our loss assessing service is *free to the policyholder, providing we can use our vetted contractors to carry out the reinstatement works. However, any excess stated within the policy will still apply and is payable by you, the policyholder.

Reinstating Property
From plumbers to electricians, each of the contractors within our network have been approved through a thorough vetting process. Your loss assessor will project manage the reinstatement works, reinstating your property to its pre-loss condition as swiftly as possible. 

Alternative Accommodation or Loss of Rent
Sometimes the property may be uninhabitable for part or all the reinstatement. Aspray may be able to assist in arranging alternative accommodation for tenants or recovering your loss of rental income.

Landlord Review: Escape of Water

Landlord, Julie, was worried about her tenants and the good rapport she had built with them.  When an escape of water left her rental property under water, she struggled to manage the insurance claim herself. That’s when she called Aspray.

The Claims Management Process

A member of the Aspray claims team will take some details of the damage to your property and arrange for a loss assessor to visit your premises at time to suit you.

Damage and repair report

Once you have reviewed and signed a mandate instruction authorising Aspray to manage the claim on your behalf we will assess the damage to your property to determine if you have a valid claim.  

Aspray manage your claim

From here, your Aspray loss assessor will deal with all communications relating to your claim, including attending all onsite meetings with necessary specialists or any insurer appointed claims management company. 

Negotiation with your insurer

Aspray negotiate the claim to achieve the best possible outcome on your behalf as quickly as possible. Having Aspray on your side, means that we will chase and aim to progress the claim as quickly as possible. 

Settlement and excess paid

Once settlement is agreed, your dedicated, independent loss assessor will meet with you to discuss the agreed works, collect your excess payment, and agree a convenient date for works to commence. 

Fully vetted contractors assigned

The agreed works are carried out using our fully vetted contractors appropriate for the works being undertaken. Your loss assessor may undertake some elements of the works personally.

Repair work begins

Your dedicated loss assessor will project manage the repair works, bringing your building insurance claim to completion. 

Sign off and feedback

Your feedback and satisfaction are of paramount importance to us, therefore, we will meet you onsite, where applicable, to inspect and sign off on the completed works.
