Supporting Men’s Mental Health – Aspray Raises £1610 for ANDYSMANCLUB
Aspray is thrilled to announce the successful fundraising of £1610 for the remarkable charity ANDYSMANCLUB during our recent national conference. The funds were raised through a lively raffle and an engaging game of Heads and Tails, activities that brought our team together for a cause we passionately support.
Championing Men’s Mental Health
ANDYSMANCLUB is a pioneering men’s suicide prevention charity dedicated to breaking down the stigma surrounding men’s mental health. They provide free-to-attend peer-to-peer support groups across the UK, creating a safe, non-judgmental space where men can open up about their struggles. With over 200 groups meeting every Monday evening, ANDYSMANCLUB reaches more than 4,500 men each week, supported by a network of 1,600+ dedicated volunteers.
Founded in 2016 by Elaine and Luke, the club was inspired by the tragic loss of Andrew Roberts, who took his own life at the age of 23. Since then, ANDYSMANCLUB has grown into a vital lifeline for many men across the country. Their mission is clear: to help one man, to save one life. This ethos resonates deeply with Aspray, and we are honoured to support their work.
At the heart of ANDYSMANCLUB is the belief that talking can be transformative. The groups are designed to be pressure-free, allowing men to speak or simply listen. This approach has proven incredibly effective in helping men navigate their mental health challenges, providing a sense of community and understanding that can be hard to find elsewhere.
Aspray were honoured to invite Lucas Whitehead from ANDYSMANCLUB to our national conference to speak about the charity and the phenomenal impact they have had on men’s mental health.
