- Independent representation in negotiations
- FCA-compliant, transparent claims management
- Vetted local tradespeople project-managed to final sign-off

Frequently Asked Questions
How much does Aspray's service cost?
Our claims management service is free to you provided we can instruct and oversee our vetted contractors to complete the reinstatement works. In other scenarios, or if you prefer a cash settlement, a fee structure is agreed with you beforehand.
You will still need to pay your policy excess, as this is part of your insurance policy. If you are a VAT registered company or individual, you are responsible for paying the VAT on the settlement, though you can claim this back from HMRC on your next VAT return.
What if I want to use my own builders?
You are free to use your own contractors. In that case our service is not free of charge, and we will agree a fee structure with you in writing before any work begins.
Where we instruct our own vetted contractors, we project-manage the works through to final sign-off and the service is free to you.
How does a Loss Assessor differ from a Loss Adjuster?
A loss adjuster is appointed and paid by your insurer, and represents the insurance company’s interests. A loss assessor is appointed by you, the policyholder, and works exclusively on your behalf.
Aspray acts as your loss assessor: we prepare the claim, present the scope of damage, and negotiate with the insurer’s loss adjuster for you.
Do you cover both commercial and residential property?
Yes. Aspray handles property damage insurance claims for homeowners, landlords, tenants, and commercial property owners across Lancashire, including offices, retail units, and industrial premises.
Are you regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority?
Yes. Aspray Limited is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority for claims management activities. You can check our registration on the FCA’s Financial Services Register.
